| Updating processor - This is not as easy as
it sounds as different motherboards only support certain processor types and speeds. In most cases it would require a motherboard and memory upgrade as well as a processor upgrade. You would also need a new power supply if upgrading to AMD Athlon or Pentium 4 This would then involve updating windows with the new motherboard drivers. |
£175 for motherboard, AMD Sempron 2800, 512Mb Memory & ATX case. Includes fitting and set up. |
| Adding TV & Radio Card | £40 fitted |
Propriety systems are not easily upgradable (eg IBM, ICL, HP, Compaq, Elonex) as their motherboards and cases are not industry standard.
Before any definite quotes can be given I must be able to see the system.
