NON WARRANTY SUPPORT OPTIONS
There are 4 basic fault situations
1/ Peripheral problem eg Floppy disk won't read. CD-ROM not reading, Monitor picture faulty
2/ System (as opposed to monitor) dead and won't load at all. (DOS or Windows)
3/ System loads to DOS prompt but Windows won't load
4/ Problems within Windows eg Internet Connection Problems, Programs crashing, Programs running slow
The first two types of problem requires a visit by an engineer (expensive) or taking (or sending) the system to a computer repair facility
The 3rd type of probem might be resolvable by a remote link if the modem installed in the system is compatible with PcAnywhere DOS mode
The 4th type of problem can more readily be resolved via a modem link. Either by direct dialling into the target system or via an internet link
